Academic Activities 2006

Professionals working in activities related to the food, additives and ingredients industry need permanent update programs on the latest technologies adopted for equipments and products, and on the regulations in force. For this reason, Tecno Fidta 2006 offers training sessions in parallel with the fair. These are the events that will take place:

  • THE MEAT PROCESSING PLANT IN ACTION: THE LIVE STAGING OF THE WORLD OF MEAT
The Meat Processing Plant in Action will be the new bet made by Tecno Fidta 2006. Its purpose is to imitate the true production environment, featuring new manufacturing practices pedagogically, the HACCP and the application of technologies to optimize the innocuousness and quality assurance processes applied to Argentine meat.
With the participation of the most important companies in the meat industry, this dynamic space will be created in order to show how carefully and dedicatedly the meat processing and cold storage industry works in the meat products manufacturing process. This event is aimed at exhibiting all the equipment used in the industrial process of cutting up slaughtered animals.
This new Tecno Fidta proposal will recreate the Cycle 2 in a meat processing plant with all its manufacturing stages.
For the third edition of The Meat Processing Plant in Action, there will a production module where Argentine companies, in particular those small and medium—sized enterprises, will be able to see how it is possible to work with quality alternatives used for the export markets. The project consists in explaining what a sanitary structure is; showing internal structures and state-of-the-art technology meat processing equipments; and developing all the hygiene-focused operative procedures.
This brand new edition of The Meat Processing Plant in Action is organized by Red Alimentaria and TecnoFidta, and it is coordinated by Architect Alberto Fassola, Dr. Roberto Galeano, Devora Dorensztein, Director of Red Alimentaria and the staff of Indexport Messe Frankfurt.
  • AATA Technical and Scientific Training Sessions (A fee is charged for these sessions)
Organized by the Argentine Food Technologists Association (AATA), the sessions will feature the following topics: packaging, meat and flowing elements in the food industry, among others. This will be a valuable training opportunity for all the professionals visiting the fair.
