• 7 months away from the beginning of the fair, already 100% of the initial surface has been occupied. The organizers decided to open a new pavilion to host those companies that are willing to take part in this fair.
  
  
• Tecno Fidta, the 7th International Food Technology, Additives and Ingredients Exhibition will be held from September 21- 24, 2004, at Costa Salguero Trade Center, city of Buenos Aires.
  

Far exceeding the organizers’ expectations, 7 months before the event, the estimated surface for the development of the fair has been covered. The 10,000 sq. meters gross area has been occupied and the organizer, Indexport Messe Frankfurt, has decided to extend a pavilion adding a 2,500 sq. meters gross area to the original surface.

To date, 160 exhibitors confirmed their participation in the fair, causing expectations to increase, and it is expected that 12,000 professionals will visit the fair during its four-day run.

The fair will exhibit the following product groups:

Processing; Packaging and bottling; Additives; Ingredients and raw materials; Refrigeration; Laboratories and quality control; Automation and control; Accessories and peripherals; Industrial services.

Business meetings

Through Eurocenter and AL Invest program, the organizers offer exhibitors the coordination of meetings with European and Latin American buyers, which satisfy mutual interests.

Said agenda will be coordinated by Eurocenter, an institution with vast experience in this type of activities. These meetings will be carried out in a special area within Tecno Fidta devoted to this particular purpose. For further information visit: www.tecnofidta.com.ar

Tecno Fidta’s participation in IFFA 2004

Tecno Fidta 2004 will have an exclusive booth in the most important fair of the beef industry worldwide, IFFA, to be held in Frankfurt from May 15-20, 2004. Exhibitors will be previously informed about the presence of Tecno Fidta so as to promote visits to this fair.

In addition, the fair will have, in IFFA, considerable static advertising (more than 100 signs) within the fair. Therefore, Tecno Fidta will further increase the campaign carried out abroad by Messe Frankfurt’s 53 agencies and 15 subsidiaries worldwide.

Academic Activities

Simultaneously with the fair, the Argentine Food Technologists Association, AATA, will hold a Congress.

Within the same framework, there will be several conferences given by fair exhibitors presenting food innovations and technologies.
