Tecno Fidta is the meeting point par excellence of the food
processing industry in Spanish-speaking America In the last
edition participated 270 exhibiting companies and 14,540 professionals,
businessmen and technicians In the second quarter of 2011, the food
and beverage industry
grew 4.2% per year, thus employing 71% of its total installed
capacity. In this favourable context, the 11th International Food
Technology, Additives and Ingredients Trade Fair will generate new
business opportunities for key players in the food industry projects
worldwide. From Frankfurt and through IFFA, the leading international fair
for the meat industry: processing, packing and sales, Tecno Fidta is also
promoted abroad. During four days, a complete academic program related to
food
technology will be developed. As in every edition, the Argentine
Association of Food Technologists (AATA) will organize its
classical technical conferences with speakers of international
renown. Another great attraction will be the space Traceability in
Action to know the advantages of having traceability systems in
different food and agriculture chains. Finally, there will be an
outstanding space for the traditional exhibitors’ conferences to
present the latest news in products and services. In parallel, Messe
Frankfurt Argentina jointly with Fundación
Export.Ar and PROARgentina will develop the 3rd International
Matchmaking Program of Food Technology, Additives and
Ingredients Buyers. The Argentine exhibiting companies will have
the chance of meeting with foreign potential buyers with the clear aim of
establishing new business contacts, reaffirm the market positioning and

In Tecno Fidta 2012, more than 300 exhibitors coming from several
countries will participate in the fair which will cover an area of 19,000
raw sqm. The number of visitors is expected to be over 17,000
professionals and businessmen of the sector.
